L.E.E. – Lifestyle Evangelism Experience

 We all struggle to comprehend the pain and loss of the massacre that took over 30 innocent lives at Virginia Tech on April 16^th.  We grieve and pray for the students and families.  We may also look more deeply into our own relationships and consider whether we're doing all we can to reach out to the souls we bump up against.  No one knows if a smile, a friendly word or a conversation with the gunman might have made a difference that Monday morning, but one thing is certain - a personal relationship with a loving, forgiving God would have brought value, meaning and hope to an angry, hurting soul. 

During our L.E.E. emphasis (April 15 to May 20) we are going to “Take the INITIATIVE to HELP a person move one step closer in the PROCESS.”  Dave Pridemore, founder of Vision Atlanta, will join with us in facilitating this 6-week emphasis.  As a recipient of this kind of investment Dave has this to say, “I personally am so glad that I had a neighbor that took enough interest in me that he helped me over time move closer and closer to God that one day I understood salvation.”

 The Virginia Tech shootings remind us that life is fragile and filled with uncertainty. There are no guarantees that the spiritual conversation you're "intending to have with your friends down the road" will still be possible tomorrow. Don't let anymore days drift by without sharing the "hope that is within you."

Join us this week at 9:15 am.  We will learn God's principles of helping our friends and neighbors move in the direction God is calling them…that is to Himself.
