A Letter for the Parents
Attention Crosspointe Kid's Corner Parents!
1. We start at 9:30 sharp (but will admit your children anytime) every Sunday morning on the 3rd floor. Start time is 9:00 during The Truth Journey series.

2. You must pick up your children after the service. We cannot let them go on their own for security reasons. (Please come quickly! Our workers are ready for lunch and a nap!)
**If your child brings a visitor to The Corner please come with them when they arrive to give us any needed information regarding their visitor.

4. Each week we take an offering providing the children with an opportunity to give. (This is completely optional but giving is a wonderful habit to develop as a child – talk & pray with your child about giving.)

5. Each week when you pick up your child they should have a “Bible Truth Sleuth” lesson paper. This paper is designed so you can Read, Reinforce, and Relate with your child regarding what they are being taught in The Corner.

6. This season God is leading us to once again offer The Corner Kids some missions opportunities. (More information will be sent home soon.)

7. Bible Memory – you will find this sessions “Bible Memory Sheet” on our web site if your child lost their copy. Each week your child will have the opportunity to recite their verse(s) to a Corner Crew Member. We chart their work and they will receive awards at the end of the 12 weeks, according to number of verses memorized. Yes, I will stoop to bribery – whatever it takes to get them to learn these verses. I strongly, strongly, strongly encourage you to assist your child in this work. Post the list on the refrigerator, work on them together as a family – practice them at the dinner table – put a copy in the car and work on them on the way to the game. Please hear me when I say, “This is one of the best investments you’ll ever make for your child!” God promises His word will not return void.

8. Discipline in The Corner is a warning system and “3 strikes – you’re out”. (After a child has received 3 warnings regarding their behavior on a given Sunday morning they will be brought down stairs to the worship center to sit with you for the remainder of the service. After the service, please return to The Corner so we can discuss what happened.)

9. You are welcome to visit us anytime! Come see what’s happening in The Corner!

10. If you are interested in becoming further involved in the children’s ministry now would be a great time to start. We can use people to teach, lead a small group, coordinate supplies, sing, perform dramas, coordinate special events, write curriculum, coordinate missions opportunities, coordinate summer camp, follow up with absentees and visitors, or just love on children. There are opportunities to serve during the 9:30 hour and on a rotating schedule during the 10:45 worship time. Come join The Corner Crew as we share Christ and His abundant life with the children of Crosspointe, our community, and the world.
