RTFF BREAKFAST – March 2 @ 8:45 am

“Road to Financial Freedom” participants!! You’re invited to a “roadside” breakfast at the “Crosspointe Diner” Sunday, March 2, at 8:45 AM on the third floor.

Join your “Road to Financial Freedom” traveling companions at the end of this leg of the journey for a spot of fellowship, a great potluck breakfast, and a bit of sharing:

  • What lessons have we learned from this study?
  • Where do we go from here? Discuss survey results and options.
  • How can Crosspointe help you deepen your relationship with the Lord by continuing to act responsibly with your money and possessions?

Groups will breakout at 10:00 am after breakfast and discussion. See you there! Call the church for details.

3:16 – Numbers of Hope

(Sunday’s, March 23 to April 27)

The numbers 9/11 have come to represent terror and tragedy.  But there’s hope, and it’s found in the numbers 3:16.  This 26-word verse in the book of John represents the essence of the gospel message.

God Loves. God Gave. We Believe. We Live.

For some, John 3:16 is so common, you may have overlooked its significance.  For others, it’s an invitation you’ve never heard to a place you’ve always wanted to visit.  Whether it’s review or revelation, this word-by-word study of John 3:16 will help you live out its message…the message of hope and love found in Jesus Christ.

Continuing through April 27, 2008

2008 South Africa Mission Trip

We continue to join hands with Pastor Peter Black, partnering in the work God is doing to Soshanguve, South Africa.  This year’s trip will take place June 25 – July 11, 2008.  Tammy is excited to once again be leading the team on this mission of encouragement to Peter and his wife Johanna, leadership training for the people of El Shaddai and other area churches, and Vacation Bible School – complete with songs, crafts, games, Bible Stories and lunch, for the children of this shanty town community.  Currently there are 20 people (9 adults and 11 students) ready to go.

How can you be a part of this mission, you might ask?

  • Prayer Support
  • Help with gathering and packing supplies
  • Help with craft preparation
  • Let a team member borrow a suitcase
  • Help with/donate items to the garage sale
  • Contact Tammy with any fundraising suggestions/opportunities
  • Financial Support – The “Harvest Offering”  will begin being taken Sunday, April 27, 2008

Each member is actively raising support outside of Crosspointe, but we NEED your help.  Please prayerfully consider what God would have you give.  Get involved.  Join the team today.  You will be blessed!

Thanks...

Did you know……A little light exercise can help almost anyone who is feeling tired all the time, according to a study by the University of Georgia’s Exercise Psychology Lab.  The research revealed that a regular , low-intensity workout such as a leisurely stroll can boost energy levels by 20 percent and decrease fatigue by 65% and much to the researcher’s surprise, low-intensity workouts were even more beneficial in reducing fatigue than high intensity workouts…..Soooooo…Start Walking!!
